How Does Development Happen in the Womb?
Brooke Greenberg gave us a rare opportunity to learn about how humans develop. Unlike Brooke, people usually change, but many of these changes happen so slowly that we do not notice them in ourselves or in people around us. But change is inevitable as we grow older. From infancy through old age, people follow the same general patterns of development, such as walking, talking, making friends, learning to read, and so on. At the same time, there is great variation in how people develop, and these variations create unique individuals. All development begins in the womb.
